Metamora Trip 2001 Page 4
On the left, a full view of the Aqueduct. A covered bridge that carries the water of the canal over Duck Creek. This is the only operating Aqueduct in the United States.

On the right, the plaque recognizing the Aqueduct as a National Landmark.

On the left, Another sign for the Aqueduct.

On the right, Dick Brown closely inspecting an old GTE line pole. Dick, you aren't supposed to work on a leisure weekend trip!

On the left, Ginny and Linda made a final stop at the Expresso stand before leaving town Sunday. MOCHA!!!

On the right, a look down Main Street looking east.

On the way home, we stopped at a local Bob Evans for a filling lunch. Of course, we parked in formation.
On the way home, the gang made one more stop at another antique mall just outside of Greencastle.

We had wonderful, sunny and warm weather for the entire trip. No cars broke down, and everyone had a tremendous time. If you missed it, you missed a fantastic trip.
